The epic and brutiful 9th annual Melbourne Underground Film Festival gave awards to filmmakers Sam Barret, Ivan Kavanagh, Jon Hewitt, Kel Dolen and more.

The Melbourne Underground Film Festival is screening Altamont Now, Plaster, Caster, No Through Road, Tin Can Man, Hole in the Ground, and a hell of a lot more.

Jack Sargeant takes over as festival director and programs some of the best underground films, including Craig Baldwin’s Mock Up on Mu and a retrospective of the work of Jeff Krulik.
