Melbourne Underground Film Festival

The Melbourne Underground Film Festival was founded by Richard Wolstencroft in 2000 as an alternative to the stodgy Melbourne International Film Festival.

The festival has a heavy focus on Australian cult films, both new and old, but also features cutting-edge films from around the world. Wolstencroft continues as the festival’s director.
